Welcome to LMU Paddock. This platform is a non-profit, community-driven project created for sim racing enthusiasts. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us.
2. What Data We Collect
- Account Data: Email address and hashed password.
- Profile Data: Driver alias, country, hardware setup, and ratings.
- Telemetry Data: Lap times, vehicle choices, and session statistics.
- Security & Network Data: We collect your IP address during login and telemetry synchronization to protect the platform against abuse.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to provide and secure the LMU Paddock service:
- To authenticate your identity and display your profile.
- To generate global leaderboards.
- Fraud Prevention: IP addresses are used to identify and block malicious actors, spambots, or users who violate our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage
We use Supabase (EU-based servers) for hosting. Your IP address is stored in an encrypted database and is only accessible by platform administrators for security audits.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Using the "Delete My Account" feature will remove all personal data, including stored IP logs associated with your account, within 48 hours.
